I attended this induction session designed for newly enrolled Doctor of Philosophy and Research Masters students. The session was convened by Professor Emanuele Viterbo, Associate Dean Graduate Research and included a welcome to the Faculty as well as important information concerning data management policies, support services, intellectual property, copyright and an overview of library resources.

The session had reps from the following sections from Monash University discussing the various support mechanisms around the campus for research students. These included:
- Monash University Institute of Graduate Research (MIGR)
- The Library Representative
- Monash Innovation (IP , Ethics & Patent Team)
- Monash Postgraduate Association (MPA)
Overall, this was a very informative session for me as a new student at Monash.
